PSTN Withdrawal Update for Business Owners

A useful update on the PSTN Withdrawal from our partners at Globe 2 Ltd.

As you will already be aware, the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) is being gradually withdrawn, with the intention of fully replacing it with new digital systems by 2025.

However, there is a significant development taking place in September 2023 which may impact your business even sooner. From this date, PSTN services will be placed on “stop sell” status, meaning they will no longer be available for purchase by customers.

Further restrictions, such as outbound calls being prevented, are anticipated as these were successfully piloted by Openreach in Salisbury and Mildenhall to prompt customer action.

Affected services include: analogue phone lines, broadband that runs over a phone line, alarms, card machines and more.

As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of ensuring a smooth transition during any significant change. That is why I wanted to take this opportunity to offer my expertise and support in helping you navigate this change.

Our company (Globe2) has a wealth of experience in helping businesses like yours make the switch to digital systems, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.

I would be happy to discuss the options available to you and provide you with more information about the services we offer.
