Mike

Managing Director
Mike founded the business and brings his 30+ years business experience, expertise, and knowledge to the benefit of our clients. With a real passion for SME’s he wanted to enable these businesses to access a level of support they might not otherwise achieve alone. He is a practising Chartered Management Accountant and is also a member of the IoD & ICPA

Harvinder

Client Manager
Having always worked in the financial services industry, Harvinder has sound financial knowledge and is an ACCA qualified accountant. Highly analytical and focussed on the ‘big picture’ she equips her clients with valuable insights so they can make informed decisions geared towards taking their business to the next level.

Sam

Client Manager
With over 20 years' experience in accounting and tax, Sam has responsibility for the planning, undertaking and delivery of client’s statutory accounts and taxation requirements whilst supporting wider client advisory projects with his accounting & tax expertise.

Esther

Brand & Engagement
Esther’s role is focussed on building and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients and partners. She is also responsible for ensuring the group engages with its community both locally and in key industry sectors; driving engagement and raising brand awareness. Esther is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (ACIM).

Grace

Business Administrator
Grace is responsible for keeping us all organised and ensuring that everything behind the scenes at Focal Business Group runs smoothly. She provides operational support across the business through the delivery of effective planning and administration, whilst maintaining a positive and pleasant working environment for us all.

Sarah

Payroll & Compliance
AKA our payroll and compliance guru, Sarah is responsible for the smooth running of payroll for hundreds of our clients' employees each month. Sarah also oversees Company Compliance ensuring all relevant documents are filed to Companies House as well as keeping registers up to date.

Vandana

Finance Partner
With a master’s degree in Commerce, Vandana has always worked in finance and is very fond of the profession. Since joining us she has taken on additional responsibilities and besides her usual bookkeeping duties she produces month-end accounts for a selection of clients.

Siy

Accounts Assistant
Siy is very involved with the bookkeeping work we do for our portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include uploading client invoices and expenses to Xero, processing and reconciling invoices, ensuring everything balances. She also supports the wider team handling client queries and preparing VAT returns.

Rowan

Finance Assistant
 Rowan is one of our Finance Assistants who supports the wider finance team in providing an extensive range of finance and accounting services to our clients.  His key responsibilities include bookkeeping, ledger processing, management report preparation and dealing with client queries. Rowan is currently studying towards his AAT qualification.

Lois

Accounts Apprentice
Lois is our Accounts Apprentice and is currently studying towards her AAT Level 3. She works closely with the finance and accounting teams and is involved across our portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include uploading client invoices and expenses to Xero, processing and reconciling invoices whilst also supporting the wider team.
