The Problem
This client is an alternative provision facility working with children who are facing challenges in mainstream school.

Having been recommended to them by their Independent Financial Advisor, we were approached because they felt that they had outgrown their existing accountant.

With plans to expand, the business owner wanted to gain greater confidence over her finances which is something she didn’t feel she had at this point. She also wanted to free up her time to allow her space to work on the business rather than in the business.

The Solution
We met with the business owner and spent time learning about her business and what she wanted to achieve and suggested an investment in our Essentials package plus our outsourced bookkeeping solution and regular advisory meetings, which she did.

The client now has regular monthly calls with her client manager to review her bookkeeping and resolve any queries and Mike attends her monthly management meetings onsite to support her in her new role as Finance Director for the company.

In amongst this we have helped her to restructure the company adding two new directors on to the board and absorbed her payroll responsibilities to further reduce any burden.

The Outcome
The client has a second home abroad and is now enjoying a lot more time over there because she is spending less time working in the business and more time on it.

She still plans to expand the business which wouldn’t be possible without the visibility and insight she now has over her finances.

The client is now doing more of what she loves, whilst we do what we love – the numbers.
